NASA once again lowers it expectations for Solar Cycle 24. On 1/5/09 it says Solar Cycle 24 will less active than Solar Cycle 23. It's about time NASA catches up with reality. I expect there will be yet more lowered adjustments in coming months.

You can't find a real scientist anywhere in the world who can look you in the eye and, without hesitation, without clarification, without saying, kinda, mighta, sorta, if, and or but...say "yes, global warming is with us."
There is no evidence whatsoever to support such claims. Anyone who tells you that scientific research shows warming trends - be they teachers, news casters, Congressmen, Senators, Vice Presidents or Presidents - is wrong.

Blame is not being placed on any one person. We are all to blame to have let it get this far.

Award winning Princeton University Physicist Dr. Will Happer, who has authored over 200 peer reviewed papers on the science of Climate, was fired by former Vice President Al Gore in 1993 for failing to adhere to Gores scientific views, has declared man-made global warming fears mistaken.
I was told that science was not going to intrude on policy,".
Lets all read that last sentence together shall we?

So when there was one sunny summer and the sea ice retreated more than usual it was used to spread the cause of global alarmism.Now the sea ice is as wide ranging as ever and what do we hear blaring in the press?

If sea ice were not currently at the same levels as they were in 1979 when TIME magazine was espousing "The Coming Ice Age", you alarmists would be citing it as proof of global warming. Now that the ice is greater than any time since 1979, you ALSO claim its due to global warming. Interesting that you feel you can have it both ways and still be a valid theory. How scientific of you.

when you say "science has long prevailed on this issue", how do you reconcile the fact that every major scientific institution readily admit the science of climatology is merely in it's infancy. Fittingly, that would be an oxyMORON.

Cap and trade was the MANTRA in Europe 5 - 10 years ago. It doesnt work! They are trying to get out from under it now. The cost to the businesses, population, etc. almost sucked them dry.
