There's nothing wrong with ISLAM - islam is a free peace loving religon. Aayan is talking about cultural problems not religious. If you're not a muslim you have a right to practice whatever religon you want - that's what islam preaches. Aayan is a liar, traumatised by her experiences.

That would be a great joke if you weren't being serious. Islam isn't a religion of peace; most of the people who practice it are simply peaceful people. But the very words of the Qu'uran and the Hadith promote violence, cruelty, inhumanity, and authoritarianism. It would be like saying because Oskar Schindler was a decent human being, Nazism is a decent belief system. But it wasn't because Oskar was a Nazi that he was a good man, nor is it because of Islam that muslims are good people.

I understand why this woman gets so much flack from the Muslim community, and deep down the people who hate her do too. In a word it is FEAR.

I cannot imagine anything a devout literalist Muslim would fear more than a strong, intelligent, outspoken, and brave apostate than her.

She is the writing on the wall. She is the future of your subjugated wives, sisters and daughters - and that future is a defiance of your stone aged interpretation of the world.
