I think you have a skewed perception of what left and right is. Basically some theorists have made the notion that the further an ideology goes to the right, it starts curving to the left, in order to justify the term "far right". In a sense it is just the fact that left wing lunatics like yourself do not like the dirty little fact that the far right, is in fact much closer to far left. These are your ideological cousins. Embrace them.

Since you seem to think that moving towards a state controlled economy is a "conservative thing" and ehm.. free market strategy... let's introduce a new term. Arab Socialism. Taste the word... It's socialism with an Arab twist... Practiced by the leftist Ba'ath Party among others. You remember, that socialist Saddam Hussein, right? Now, feel free to compare Fascist Italy to Saddam's Iraq. O'Reilly you have successfully exposed the left wing and their agenda again! I love how everyone rips up Fox News and are so pissed off about it, yet everyone watches it? A majority of Americans are sick of the left wing crap (CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN) that dominates the news quantitatively, but don't come even close to FOX news in ratings. Fox News exposes the left's idealogies and makes them accountable for their actions... it shows by how ticked off they are at O'Reilly and Fox.

I seem to have better understanding of in what side of the political spectrum fascism is placed than you at least. Please enlighten me as to how fascism has a lot more in common to free markets and capitalism as opposed to communistic planned economy.

The fact that in practice some instances of communist rule has allowed for some state controlled forms of corporatism to exist out of necessity does nothing to argue for your claim that Fascism is a leftist ideology.
