How unfair to clip this man's words and then condemn him! Why wasn't his message shown in context of the whole? A patriot can rebel agaist authority that demands actions not in accord with God's will. Still, the Bible calls for such rebellion to be seriously considered, encouraging faithfulness even to governments that are not pure (because all human power is tainted with sin.) Enough with the crude talk, it makes you look unintelligent.

Our government is governed by the Constitution. If and when it acts outside that boundary, it is not longer a legal body. Obey the Constitution and not a farce. If Romans 13 says obey the law, then obey the Constitution. Can you guess who these fools voted for?

I realise that the bible says toobey ANY govt that declares itself in power, and i struggle with that, i must admit.
However, HOW can we be sure that someone bad dint add that piece in, or lie a little, in the translation ?
Its a lot to askm for TOTAL blind faith. I mean, what would you say if Obama declared himself a SATANIST, and said that this would be the new religion and ALL other religions are banned ?
Would you say "ok, we honour you, oh king" ???

This is the federal government intentionally manipulating your religion in order to more easily control your fellow citizens. Why don't you read through Romans 13 again and then read some smarter christian's opinions on what it says to clarify the context.
