Sullivan & Hitchens on CNN
BackAndrew Sullivan and Christopher Hitchens both agree that Bush is gone wacked and that the Kerry faux paus is trivial. Even the conservatives are turning (though Hitchens denies this affiliation).

LoL, Sullivan is so hilarious in his explanation of Bush's psyche. "This man has lost his MIND!"

Why do morons think someone must be a republican or conservative if you support a particular war
40% of all voters are Independents!
No Republican or Democrat becomes president without our vote!!

The journalists aren't generally intellectuals. Especially the handsome/winsome early-evening talking heads. At best, they did academic debate in high school or college. To expect them to be able to break themselves loose of the peculiar American bipolar view of politics on the fly, let alone stimulate conversation in that mode, is preposterous.
It may be ironic to say, but I feel that moderation ought to be held as something of a sacred role. Shame, really.

Thank you. Still, I think the only archaic word I used there was "winsome," which reflects the innocent kind of charm female anchors often reach for when asked to speak off-the-cuff. In that sense, it's a neutral term. On the other hand, it's somewhat incompatible with academic talk, an exercise in explaining difficult concepts. I could say the same about the folksy charm that some people employ in conversation. Pleasant, to be sure, but not always conducive to clarity.

I hate how CNN keeps trying to steer the conversation away from substance and towards politics.

He isn't a conservative AT ALL. Don't inflict your retarded american dumbed-down definitions on real intellectuals.

But he was not right about the war. He is not a conservative but that does not make him right.
