This is a Chinese government promotion/propaganda film isnt it?All well and good,but why not in English,French,etc.
A long term project,this film was made for the government;engineers with their models,etc,filmed as works proceeded, an "inside" job.Convert to english etc, please.

People are however completly disregarding the fact that the Yangzte is already abused and some parts have water so poluted that it isn't even fit for industrial use.

What are you a rep of China's government? Being relocated to a city doesn't give a person a better life. A city requires learning different skills that might have worked in a rural area. And I'm sure a lot more than 11,000 people are going to be relocated. It will be a benefit for China to have that damn, but it won't provide a better life for EVERYONE.

Buddy what about the millions affected by the floods when there wasn't a dam.
You seem to have forgotten about those.
Also excuse me but 22,5 GW capacity is something(how many nuclear,coal powerplants is that).Also as for providing a better life for everyone that thing can't happen overnight it will take time.Stop envying on China because its building great things to get their energy whille the US is destroying countries to get theirs.

Sounds like TheBigBadAZz is indoctrinated, who the heck else understands narration?

The project will cause earthquakes, and may have already done so in minor ways, think about that... and cause a longer term, or broader seismic "expression" as the tectonic plates far below shift as the dam fills to capacity.
The Hoover dam was confounded by this problem wasnt it, forcing levels to be maintained below the engineered and expected capacity.

Did they check faultlines, i suppose so... lol
