My all time favourite female singer of all time mate, and so lovely and everything... very under-rated band, Fotheringay. Caution, name-drop coming up - I met mr Donohue at a Big Brother and the Holding Co gig not so long ago, he was saying there's another CD-worth of recorded tune almost ready to go.

This is wonderful! Sandy Denny's voice was a gift from above! FOTHERINGAY was an interesting tansition point between FC and Sandy's solo career, combining elements of what made FC so great (particlarly during the legendary days Sandy and Richard Thompson were part of the band), while expeimenting with things that she would continue to explore during her forthcoming solo career...AWESOME! One thing tho, is she wearing her bathrobe onstage? ;-)

It's a Kaftan. It was the 70's (man) the fashions were very 'then' - but not now.

I watch this vid every couple of weeks or so, it's just 100% in every respect.

Every wannabe pop xfactor idol 'maria dog' singer should be given a copy of this and told to bugger off home - quietly
