I also hate guys who come on youtube and criticize departments for making mistakes. I know there isn't any department that follows every rule and does everything perfect. Because if we did we wouldn't be killing a firefighter everyday. So instead of criticizing why don't you guys make sure your departments don't make the same mistakes and leave other departments alone.

I don't agree with osha and all those other agencies. If there is a victim trapped and u don't don ur scba until ur out of the truck those are priceless seconds wasted. so ur dept. can folow them will do it our way

i think some1 did alreadyt do a 360, becuse @ the bigining of the videa it shoues a guy with a radio walking around. this may be 1st pumper, 2nd truck.

I didn't see anybody do a 360 around the house. Next why did the firefighters enter into the side that was burning. Enter the house from the unburned side. Next why were these guys getting their airpacks on outside?

They didn't "vent where the FIRE IS NOT" If you look at the involvement of the room just after they vented that window, it is way too involved to have been caused by venting and it is obvious that it had been burning for some time. The reason you cant see the fire in the window on arrival is the glass had already been darkened down by the fire. Take your mickey mouse certs and shut up.

Spent 8 hours outside?? They had water on the fire less than 1min and 30secs after pulling up. Thats pretty damn good. But Im sure you could have probabally done this so much better. Im sure that you know everything about firefighting. Shut the fuck up dude.

Being a new grad. I see the following. One man trying to enter without his helmet, never purged his nozzel, no second line, no ventilation, when "no lid" did not go y di the others hold NO SECOND LINE!!!!!!! What started as a room and contents fire ended up much worse. Thank God my fire fighting brothers came home safe. BE SAFE BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Columbia 129
