Presidential hopeful congressman Ron Paul says he will not run as a third-party candidate as he is fully committed to the Republican Party.
Paul announced on his website Friday that while he does not wish to denigrate third parties, his policies are in line with those of the Republican Party as he seeks 'low taxes and reduced government spending'.
The 72-year-old Texan added that he is making cuts to his national campaign staff.
"With Romney gone, the chances of a brokered convention are nearly zero," Paul wrote on his website Friday.
The Texas lawmaker said although his chances at getting the Republican nomination for the White House are slim, it has not affected his 'determination to fight on, in every caucus and primary remaining'.
Senator John McCain, with 719 delegates, is currently the Grand Old Party's frontrunner. Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee has 198 delegates, and Ron Paul is trailing behind with 14 delegates.
A total of 1,191 delegates are needed to secure the Republican nomination.

It amazes me when foreigners know more about this presidential race than most Americans. Why can't we be cool with the whole middle east like we are with UAE?

This video begs the question. Are you Islamic or Christian. It is hard to ascertain as to whether this is a mockery or a serious comment???

I do not consider myself either. I learn what is useful from those who have had spiritual experieces, but I do not subscribe to the belief of loyalty to any particular religion. I believe anytime we are blindly loyal, we open ourselves to be taken advantage of. I am loyal only to truth and justice for all... And I do my best to be aware of the true meaning of those words.
