I used to work with an older attorney who knew Liddy when they were both FBI agents. His take (in his Brooklyn accent) pretty much says it all: "George is an act-uh [actor]. Always was. Always will be."
I always found Liddy entertaining. The one think I admire him most for on radio is that he is always courteous to callers-even the hostile ones. I also admire him for taking prison like a man-unlike Chuckie Colson & others. But like my former FBI friend, I think a lot of his persona IS an act.

The man has character. You should read Will and get a perspective on why he accepted his role in the Nixon administration and why he chose prison over compromise of principles.

My dog's shit is worth more than G. Gordon Liddy, that piece of shit is a criminal who was lucky enough to get a radio show.

We love The G-Man. We've been featured on the show and he's a great guy.

Take it easy on the G-man. His show is pretty cool! I don't think anyone gave him any trouble when he was a political prisoner.

Nice 'tache, a manly-man like him probably had a great time in jail.
