Why do people pretend to understand islam and defend it? Any true muslim will tell you she's telling the truth, that's why they make death threats against her. If she was just some whacko, muslims would simply ignore her.

She did lie when she entered holland. She was still a practicing moslem then so it makes perfect sense. Cultural habits don't go away by crossing a border but through education and being able to reason on your own.

just cuz a group of people who happened to be Muslim blew themselves up it doesn't mean ISLAM is to blame.....

just cuz we chose to cover ourselves up, and live our culture and religion the way we want.. the west have their panties in a knot..

this woman's video and book are FILLED with false facts..

go do ur research and then judge her book and claims..

Ayaan had nothing but praise and genuine appreciation for the kind, open-minded and generous Dutch people.

I just finished reading her book ("infidel"). It is a riveting saga of a fiercely-independent, intelligent young woman, born in a harsh,Muslim reality, caught in a quandary of two disparate ideals, then transcending her indoctrination by virtue of her resolve and intellectual endeavors.

You are blessed to have been born in such a remarkable nation! (Holland)

I just finished reading "Infidel." It's a truly remarkable book. I highly recommend it to everyone who values freedom of expression and the rule of reason.

I wonder if Beck knew when he said "You'll be in our prayers" that Ayaan is in fact an atheist. Beck also said "Peace to you," which is the traditional Islamic greeting throughout the Muslim world. In any case, a good interview.

...I can criticise you for your assumption of me being "indoctrinated". Indoctrination is to insruct or forcefully order without reason towards a belief or behaviour. I believe that i am a sensible enough person to question and investigate Islam, which I have, and conclude it to be the correct path in life and afterlife. Part of human nature is to ask and investigate, and Islam continuely asks Muslims to seek knowledge, ESPECIALLY that of Islam rather than sciences. i wont reply, last word's urs

I havent assumed your religion. Ive read your comments about "criticising other religions", which i believe is fair judgement to call you an atheist. An agnostic is simply an atheist with an open door. At this very moment, you do not believe in God (yet), in conclusion, dont misconstrue my post in saying i assume this that or the other, because i have made fair (and obviously correct) judgement on who you are when it comes to faith.
