He ordered the murder, and pillage of a Jewish town. You need to go argue with Dangeldoo, and muhammoudtube. They know the history much better than I, and I admit that. You know, there are many countries where islam is practiced in a negative way, and that's all we ever hear about. If you don't mind, which contries have the peaceful muslims, and which don't? How are we supposed to tell? U get mad at us for being outraged. How can U blame us? Who R the good guys here?

They key is to be well-informed. Nothing is worse than ignorance, anger and hatred. I don't blame you when all you hear is negative remarks about Islam. Each time I hear negative remarks about people or other religions, I investigate, I get to know the people who practice the religion...Every religion would have their pros and cons and people who execute abhorrent acts in the name of God. All I am saying is where possible,get to know more Muslims.Those idiots in the media do not represent us all

I also understand that it is hard for the world to sieve out the good from the bad when all it gets to see is the bad. All I can do as a Muslim is pray and encourage others to be more informed and tolerant. Like I said before, I'm from Singapore and I can vouch for Muslims here and Malaysia! :)As ridiculous as this sounds, I can even bring you on a tour if you come visit Singapore! :)

Something tells me I am wasting my time trying to get people to see the positive in Islam...It is their loss...To the Muslims out there, don't despair. And to the exemplary Muslims in Singapore, continue to balance life and religion well. We can only hope that the world becomes less ignorant and more tolerant. At least I am happy and proud that I don't go around calling Christians or Jews or Buddhists murderers or assholes..I have tons of Christian, Catholic and Buddhist friends anyway...:)

People choose to see the negative. The fail to see followers of Islam that are exemplary to others. I understand why Ayaan adopted such stance (I read her autobiography) because of what she witnessed and the predominant way of how Islam was interpreted by the Somali and Saudi Arabia people. Muslims in Singapore are well-loved and are peace-loving individuals. It is sad that Islam is really a misunderstood religion and people choose to provide their opinions w/o even understanding it

I've read Ayaan's book and she MISINTERPRETED the Quran. Whilst there are examples of Muslims committing atrocities, there are examples of non-Muslims committing atrocities as well...Muslims in Singapore don't get flogged or stoned or BLAH BLAH BLAH..
