I think we should have a plan like HR 676, with an option to opt out for all the people who don't want universal healthcare. That way, everybody is covered and everybody gets what they want. If you opt out, you get a tax credit. A simple yes or no check box on the 1040 form. Do you wish to opt out of universal healthcare? yes/no.

I got damn!!! It's about time, in a interview this woman said he held her down and beat the crap out of her in a studio.

If you are uninsurable, have any pre existing medical conditions, and in need of a health plan in 24 hours for a low price call 1877-467-9970 ask for Ebony, she's really nice and she got me coverage for the low.

Google the below and learn about some UHC myths.

The Case For Single Payer, Universal Health Care For The United States

The US is the only industrialized nation that does not guarantee access to health care as a right of citizenship. 28 industrialized nations have single payer universal health care systems, while 1 (Germany) has a multi-payer UHC system like Clinton proposed

UHC --> a right and not a privilege.

700,000 bankruptcies/yr due to medical expenses!

IT'S TIME!

it seems like just one little topic can bring about so many different point of views...and in a sense you are all correct. I agree with some one who said we should just skip the middleman and go direct, there's plenty of revenue there, its possible, i mean look at
Sam Walton and what he did in just a couple decades, Wal Mart became the wealthiest business in the world and they don't even make anything just by skipping a step or two in the distribution chain!

Even more reason to fix the problems and not create other problems with Govenment bureaucracy. You never make anything more efficient by adding layer upon layer of Government. If you have 6,000 insurance forms now, you will have 60,000 Government forms. That is how it works.

Social programs are abused by private companies. I don't blame the program. Govt. does exactly as told. I view it as I would any bank heist, I don't blame the Bank, I would imprison the criminals who stole the money. I view it again like a bank that've had their funds embezzled. e.g. raided S.S. accounts for the pork, you never turned down. Throw the bums out and remind them who their boss is. Govt. is VERY efficient when lobbyists aren't involved. Don't add layers, just kick out the middlemen.

That sounds easy, but when you "Throw the bums out", who will run to replace them? More bums?

You have to change the way Govenment works. Right now we have this unrealistic accounting schema. You have to replace that first before adding any more gasoline to the fire.

Quit voting for those who have the slickest ads, paid for by their Lobbying contributors.

The way Govt. works is the "Money" that greases the skids. That is what has created these accounting schemes. They certainly wouldn't shell out 2.2 billion in healthcare Lobbying if they didn't think they'd have a return on their Dollars. Why continue to support any representative who has bought into things like "Pharma 'D'". The message gets around.

We have to allow third partys to be voted for in all 50 states.

We have to educate people, not fill them full of slogans and one liner agenda.

People have to want to be educated.

Right on!!
