@BabbelYou: There were moving pictures. The first "film" was 1888. Edison made it commercially viable in 1893 with the Kinetograph and the Kinetoscope. 1895 was when the Lumieres' first exhibition using the cinematograph took place. Nietzsche died in 1900, so it there was a span of time in which he could have been filmed. Look up "History of Film" on Wikipedia for more info.

It´s dreadful! I´ve got goosebumps. This genius, this great intellectual sitting in his chair, notecing nothing, not even the camera that is filming him! You can say what ever you want about his philosophy (which, by the way, I truely doubt you understood by reading your comments) - he was one of the greatest minds that ever walked the earth and we can be happy to follow his example for the steps that are tiny enough for us
