The monopoly men won't allow it. They've destroyed all public works in order to force people into inefficient, costly corporate-owned systems. There are fabulous alterrnatives, but it won't happen from the government side or top down. People are going to be forced to start from scratch as many do with their own wind, solar and other ways of making power. We can't count on government to do its job now. We have to form local and personal networks to take care of our needs. Lovely waterway, Dave!
