The callers can never win. That is just the way it goes with talk shows.
If the caller had the same passion regarding something Prager had done that he liked, then Prager could just as easily made that caller a hero.

That doesn't even matter, it's pointless. Dennis gives his opinion, whether or not his ideas win in the end. Unless you didn't notice, Dennis is quit shockingly polite to the imbasiles who he speaks with. His reverence in not cursing and cutting this lunatic off is because he believes is debate, not merely attacks.

Help me out on how Prager owns this guy? Because he talked in a calm, rational voice? So, if I told you that I think you molest small animals, it would make absolutely no difference whether I presented anything factual or not to enforce or prove my assertion, but if I said it in a calm, reassuring voice that would make it true?
OK, (done in my best Mr. Rogers voice) you practice beastiality.
WOW... THAT MADE IT TRUE!!! HOORAY!!

Do you share the caller's perspective? Do you think the caller was rational when he started the name-calling? Does name-calling add or subtract from your view of the name-caller?
A professional talk-show host can deal with these kinds of calls in their sleep. It is the first thing you must learn to be successful on the air.

Do I believe that the majority of Global Warming is man made in nature? Yes. Did the caller practice a measured response to Mr. Prager? No.
But none of that is really the issue. My Dad always told me never get in an argument with a drunk or a fool. I don't know if Mr. Prager is a drunk, but I certainly believe his views on this issue are foolish and dangerous. And not all dangerous fools froth at the mouth when they speak and that makes them even more dangerous.

So you don't like him. So what? Don't let your hatred for him effect your argument. Make your point with facts rather than emotion. And if you have concluded that Prager is just a fool with a microphone, then maybe you should take your father's advice and not argue with him.
I'm liking your Dad already, but I'm guessing he meant 'Don't argue with fools or drunks .. at the bar'. Unless you're looking for a fight or something.

A. You asked me a question. I did not go looking for you. If you don't like the answer, don't ask the question.
B. I don't hate Mr. Prager. I don't even know him. I stated his position on this issue is foolish. Don't presume to know my feelings.
C. I am not, nor have I argued with Mr. Prager. I stated my opinion on this Youtube post. Obviously you didn't understand the "don't argue..." quote.
D. Mr. Prager is not worth my attention. If you enjoy his misinformation? So, be it. Enjoy!

Dennis is a fool because, as you wrote, "...I do not believe him to be blind or deaf."
This would imply that you are unaware of all the scientists (and people who have spent much of their lives studying science, and issues related to this environmental concern) he's had on his show, whom agree with him. Or, better said, he agrees with them.
Believe it or not, there are some very good reasons for argument against the popular presumptions about global warming.
