Dennis Prager may be the greatest man of our time. his clarity on the great issues of life has earned him a very special place in the hearts of many.

In this, he discusses the issue of Comparing yourself to other people. You shouldn't, but people do it anyways. And he quotes the mother of his best friend Joseph, Helen, "The only happy people I know are people I don't know well"

Once you get to know people, you know a whole host of issues that affect them and their lives daily, and it should humble you to know that you are not exceptional to life's problems.

Dennis Prager is a very refreshing alternative to so many radio/news hosts who simple rant and rave like lunatics.

The comments attacking Dennis Prager show just how uninformed and ignorant people can be. ANYBODY who has listened to Dennis Prager for even ONE WEEK will know what a fair open-minded host he is. He is, imo, the most profound radio host on the air today - he really has no competition.

Absolutely true. Prager is (and I hardly ever use this word frivolously) a genius. I almost always do say, however, say to those that have never heard Dennis before that if the world was a village, Dennis Prager would be one its wise men.

This is the same guy that said equality is not an American value. That makes him a clown in my book.

We all have our ways of measuring people up. We, as Americans, believe that Liberty brings more Equality. Europeans are the opposite & both groups think that one is more achieved when the other is elevated.

Knowing Dennis, he's not anti-equality; so long as it, in the final analysis, does not trump Liberty. Most Euro's are not against Liberty either, as long as it does not trump Equality.

That said, even if you disagree with him on that issue, I cant see you disagreeing with him on this topic.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. This is from the Declaration of Independence, I guess it doesn't mean anything to Prager and the likes.

Dennis, and most Conservatives are for Liberty and think that Liberty brings about more equality. They don't want equality above all, especially if Liberty is trashed.


American liberals and Europeans tend to hold Equality as a higher moral value then Liberty, which is fine. They think that liberty is achieved through this, meaning: If we have more equality, we can also achieve greaterliberty.


You can't have both without giving up one or the other.

ALL men are created EQUAL!!! Futhermore how can liberty exist without equality? To say that equality is not a value of yours is to say that inequality is. You are promoting white supermacy and don't even know it. One day you will see the truth and see how you have been subtly brainwashed.

Yes, but that's where it ends. Equality IN THE EYES OF GOD of all people regardless of race, sex, ethnicity.


I don't assume stupidity on your part, even if I think your ideas are stupid. I think you may be mistaken; I too am mistaken from time to time. I am not brainwashed, and don't substitute that, racism, or any other dismissal of my humanity in the place of ideas.


You introduced White Supremacy into this discussion. It is not racist to explain what/why/how Conservatives & Liberals think.

The "equality" that Liberals/Leftists tend to talk about extend into every aspect of life. Equality of outcome, economics, social policy, pay, ability, etc.


Even in Foreign Policy, Equality enters the equation. Liberals will give "Moral Equivalent" when relating the United States to any other country saying that they are "equally" as bad as us. Example: Iraq, Iran, Soviet Union, China, Nazi Germany, etc.


They did that with Rev. Wright citing the "Equal" moral idiot on the Right John Haggee.
