I live in Florida, Hello? Lots of Hispanics here, so you don't spend hours looking for translators, by the way YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO WRITE PROPER ENGLISH, AND YOU ARE FROM NORT AMERICA??? SAD, IT IS TRANSLATORS, THE CORRECT WAY, NOT TRANSLATER, HAHAHAHA. I AM NOT FROM MEXICO. Have you seen a White trailer trash park here in the states? drunk, stinky hillbillies, and women doing meth and having sex with their brothers? You have the same here, baby...

omg If you are going to defend speaking other languages at least do it in better English. You're simply proving the point by your stupidity.

Tons of us wear that ''chip''. Tired of our country being taken away from people who didnt want to stay in their own country because of the crime & poverty. They move here, breed like their lives depend on it and move 37 relatives into a 2 bedroom apt.

When your child is sick, SHAME ON THE MOTHER, who has to waste time in the hospital FINDING the Spanish speaking person to translate....give me a break its not like the translaters are just ''hanging around'' in case they are needed. And your last sentence is sad sad sad!!! LEARN ENGLISH!! or go back to your dirty filthy crime ridden country.

well, everytime you buy something here in the US you can find more instructions in English and Spanish sometimes French, very rare in those languages you mention. The absentee ballots are printed in English & Spanish not the languages you mentioned. English has many word that comes from Latin & Spanish, rodeo, animal, festival, embargo, solo, binocular, motor, auto, juvenile, too many to mention here.

If Spanish were the only language to be considered it would be easy enough. But it's not. There's Russian, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, and dozens of others. Isn't it easier for them to learn one language than for our citizens to learn dozens. A unified language has always been a strong point in our melting pot. We are diverse yet we found common ground in a language, a flag and a country. We kept our cultures but we became one. United - with a common language. And that language is English.

Almost every hospital in the US there's Spanish speaking person to translate. I live in Florida and even the absentee ballot to vote for the President of the US is printed in English and Spanish!
