Interesting...as if calling someone "Fatboy" elevates the discourse. It's also not much of an argument to say...sure, Randi does it but so does the other guy. Not the least of which, in this clip, it is Randi who doesn't shut up and constantly speaks over the other person. And if you check her record, she brings nothing new to the discourse...NOTHING. It's all partisan crap...you can read it and hear it anywhere. She just says it really obnoxiously. That's her big value. Bravo.

It doesn't add much to the argument if you only see one person shouting over the other when they are both guilty. I agree 100 percent that it is partisan crap you can hear anywhere. The kid wasn't to smart to make a statement which could be reversed towards him. He doesn't appear to be very street smart. Randi, to her credit or discredit, was a NYC girl who can get crude and down and dirty if she has to arise to the occasion. The kid doesn't seem to have it in him to do the same.

I am not defending or attacking the kid - I am far more interested in why the "progressive" left takes as their own someone who is a nasty, partisan, illiberal hack with no new ideas and with a seemingly fundamental problem with anyone who disagrees with her. She's the one who's on radio. She's the one in the papers. Not the kid...so I am more concerned with Randi.

The kid has his own talk show like Randi Rhodes. He is on some group of Religious radio stations. That is the only way that he would be on a debate with Randi Rhodes. I cannot remember his name. But if you find out, do a google on him and he has a homepage. His claim to fame is he was home schooled listening to Rush.

According to his profile on his website (I cannot remember his name, so I cannot look it up), he was home schooled and raised listening to Rush. From the people I have met who were home schooled, they are the least streetwise kids that I have ever met. It is nice to learn everything online, but you do lose something without the personal face-to-face contact. So I take this kid cannot function outside of his protected environment. You need to meet people from different walks of life.
