Hey dittoheads, especially gaspinjaspin and you acne addled rustypuppets who love Big Oil. Your new VP nominee is bragging all over the media that she has "taken on" the big Oil Cos. and "won." Too effen funny!

The more that comes out, the worse it gets for McCain. He had only met her once in his life, and had one phone conversation with Palin prior to meeting with her last week. McCain doesn't even know who she is!! He's potentially put a woman he knows little about a heartbeat away from running the most powerful nation in the history of the world. This is beyond poor judgement, this is pure incompetence.

Its been reported that George Obama, the neglected and ignored brother of chain smoking Barack Obama has been flown out of Kenya by Sean Hannity, ensconced in a new home, and will be on his show Sunday night!

Inexperience. Palin has been governor for about two minutes. Thanks to McCain's decision, Palin could be commander-in-chief next year. That may strike people as a reckless choice; it strikes me that way. And McCain's age raised the stakes on this issue. As a political matter, it undercuts the case against Obama.--conservative ronesh ponurru

Palin fired the head of the Alaska State Patrol when he refused to fire Palin's brother-in-law, who was divorcing Palin's sister at the time. It was small town pettiness at it's finest, and unethical.

A 36 yr old man initiating contact with a 16 yr old boy on YT, and then goading him to make trolling posts, in violation of YT policy, is inappropriate, and more than a little creepy.
This is the 4th time in a month that underage YT members have come on various threads to attack specific liberal posters. When the teens profiles are checked, the same adult right wing usernames are present as "friends" or leaving messages goading them on to do more attacks. Really sicko stuff.

Just talked to a fed LEO friend of mine, he thinks a 36 yr old initiating contact with a 16 yr old on YouTube is not too cool, and that the 16 yr old should have all such interactions blocked by readily available software, and that all the teen's contacts should be approved by the parents. The teen should also take down all personal info on his YT profile.

"It was a liberal speech, more unabashedly, unashamedly liberal than any Democratic acceptance speech since the great era of American liberalism. But it made the case for that liberalism - in the context of the decline of the American dream, and the rise of cynicism and the collapse of cultural unity. His ability to portray that liberalism as a patriotic, unifying, ennobling tradition makes him the most lethal and remarkable Democratic figure since John F Kennedy.

Well, first off, Obama is a mainstream liberal, not a "socialist." Those are two very different things. Or are you another dittohead that buys rush's ignorant demagogy that liberals=socialists=communists? Really immature crap. Great leaders must be great speakers to move their audience, their country, to believe that things are possible, and to gain political power--that's when things move--that's like saying Ryan Howard can lead the majors in homers, but he's still not much of a hitter.

Very good speaker, very little that actual makes him a leader--still a socialist.
