What do you expect from thugs, Bush and his ilk are criminals, they are no different than the mafia.

Not necessary, that is, unless you're a crook and out to control your own citizens.

The problem was, if you actually listen to his testimony, that the program was unconstitutional. This is a first hand account of Bush and his cronies taking extreme measures to bend the laws to suit their interests. It's not necessary to expand wiretapping laws, they are already extremely lenient.

Why is it so outragous? The program had to be approved that day. I know Ashcroft wsa in the hospital but it couldn't wait.

It didn't have to be passed that day. It didn't have to be signed off by Ashcroft, there was an acting AG.

One by one the shady little men behind the curtain are being revealed - and they've got to go!! Starting w/ Mr. Gonzalez. Share this video with other intelligent people!!!

Why hasn't our "free" press reported on this?
Ruby1978 (May 30, 2007 at 2:56 pm)
This is truly unbelievable. Comey is not some left wing nut, he is a Republican, this is absolutely outrageous. If this doesn't show the wire tap program was illegal, then what does?? What is going on here? Why don't people know this? I have a new found respect for Ashcroft.

The most clearly impeachable offense in the history of the United States of America. How is this not the only story that is being reported. This is the president attempting to illegally circumvent the justice department. Where is the press coverage? Where is the justice? Where is the outrage? What the hell is the Congress doing to follow up with impeachment hearings.

I've been searching for video too. Would a writing campaign to C-SPAN (+ others) do any good.
In the 70's the media was all over such stories, relentless. Now they're too busy with Paris Hilton, American Idol. Shame on them! United, people can fight pressure. If Nixon were alive, he'd be jealous of Bush.
