Revolution was nesseccary back in the days because nobody was listening to us. Nubian people from the successful to the homeless, throughout America, were treated like animals and enough was enough.America had reached the boiling point as it is with the war and the fallen Kennedys, but after Dr.M.L.King was killed...... that was a rap! And this song sounded the trumpets...

So no one needs as explanation as to why time's up for lillkiberals and his ideological ilk. The problem is when supporters of fascists like Ron Paul start making approving noises about the work of people like Gil-Scott Heron.

Gil Scott Heron will break into your house, rape your wife, rake your kids down the face with an afro-comb, rip off your TV set, and steal your car.
The revolution will put him in the driver's seat.
The revolution will put him in the driver's seat.

lol your an idiot. Gil Scott-Heron has only been to jail for drug offenses, a lil coke here and there, but nothing ridiculous. He didn't get drunk and kill his wife, or blow up an office building, or go on a shooting spree. But he has said far too many words that scare fools like you.

I love the lyrics ... I love the message ...
It reminds me of a Prof I had that would rant about how the rap industry is owned by people that don't want big city and small city poor to get together ... by people who are confounding the languages to divide and conquer.
I love rap lyrics, but I can't understand the music. My Profs point : would we poor be in our current state (no minimum wage increase in 20yrs) if the rap message had been delivered by Lionel Richie or Marvin Gaye ?
GO Gil !!

I was resting for a minute but now that Obama ran for president and won I feel I got to get back on guard. I thought I was running from south central to get to a place where the grass is greener. Your told to go to college, get a job and live around White folks. Which I did, but after the first Rev.Wright sermon I thought I was going to get chased down to the hood. God please let Obama live and do well or thy will have the law lookin to put every negro in interment camps.
