Kate Bush - Suspended in Gaffa

I deleted the crappy sound on the original and put in the MP3 so this video has excellent sound quality (although it took me 3 hours to get it synchronized).
I've put the lyrics underneath here.
Does anyone know what Kate means with the title 'Suspended in Gaffa'? If you do, or think you do, please write a comment. I would love to hear your thoughts on Gaffa.

Thanks for adding the better audio to the video and going through all the trouble of making sure it is aligned correctly! In regards to Gaffa, I saw on some other website that there was a popular brand of liquid latex named Gaffa at the time. The "suspended in" imagery seems to fit that meaning slightly better than gaffer tape.

Nah, i prefer Ra Ra Riots version. But i think its because i heard theirs first, if i had heard this one first i would probably agree.
