Congressman Tom Tancredo, current exploring a presidential bid ( describes his visit to Yazoo Federal Prison on Friday, February 10, to see for himself the injuries of former Border Patrol Agent Ignacio Ramos. Ramos was viciously beaten by prisoners February 3.

Really, how many in 10 individual border crossers are carrying drugs? If you think more than 1, you're buying, so stop complaining. If not buying, you must be a FOX watcher. If you think they deserve a bullet for ILLEGALLY crossing a border (not lethal last time I checked), then you must be SHOT the next time you exceed the speed limit or have one too many (way more lethal, and you know you have!) Send illegals back! It's good exercise for both sides. SHOOTING? Deport you to Dumbassville!

bubba2215, you call me a piece of garbage because based on the evidence, I believe that the border agents are guilty. So did the prosecutor, the 12 jurors and the judge. Is everybody a piece of garbage? Is everything a conspiracy? These agents had a trial and were found guilty by a jury of their peers. They were bad agents. Your a piece of garbage for wanting bad agents to patrol the borders. There are bad cops too. Just read the papers. Every year bad cops are sent to prison too.

obviously you dont care whats is happening on our border.i have no tolerance for drug dealers or their sympathizers.they chased him for ten miles before taking that action.he is now in prison for a second trafficking offense.these were good cops doing their job.the piece of shit d.a. which just so happens to be a family friend of the bush family,withheld mega evidence from the case.this was a BAD D.A..(and im not an anti bush nut)

If the D.A. held mega evidence from the case, don't you think the defense attorneys would also know this? This would be grounds for a new trial. You mention that the D.A. is a friend of the Bush family. With Bush's popularity at an all time low, this would hurt the D.A. not help him. Why aren't these agents out on appeal if this conviction is so wrong? This trial occurred in the United States not some 3rd. world dictatorship. Why would everyone conspire to convict these agents?

I was heavily biased toward innocent before the Senate hearing. After hearing all the evidence and testimonies, I would have voted for guilty too. There is no political pressure on me. If anything, I would want an innocent verdict so my faith in law enforecement would not be lost. I want to believe that law enforcement is just and true. This is not the case. Law enforcement has criminals too. Law enforcement must follow the law and their training. These border patrol agents are guilty.
