Cỏ cây chợt lên màu nắng

Lung linh nắng thủy tinh vàng
Chợt hồn buồn dâng mênh mang

Chiều đã đi vào vườn mắt em
Mùa thu qua tay đã bao lần
Ngàn cây thắp nến lên hai hàng
Để nắng đi vào trong mắt em

Le soleil, or et mercure tremblant, resplendissait,

Le soir est maintenant, bien dans tes yeux,
Maints automnes sont venus et s'en sont allés,
Les arbres par millier, en rangée de cierges allumés,
Ont laissé entrer le jour ensoleillé dans tes yeux.

Autumn rains flew and soothed our arms
The afternoon softly leaned shadows across the floor
Then once there were clouds climbing high

That blew the sunny melancholy onto your hair
Your pale feeble hands welcomed nostalgic pain
Yesterday, why were the autumn leaves not golden
And why didn't the sun get in your eyes yet ?

You crossed the park in peaceful step
In the distance, windy clouds returned to the hills
The vegetation suddenly turned to the color of the sun
You crossed the park, steady gaze from great eyes
As mercurial sun glistened its glittering gold
All of a sudden an immense sorrow raised in your soul

The afternoon had got in the garden of your eyes
Autumns had made their works so many times
Rows of thousands trees were lighted candles
Letting the sun get into your eyes
(The color of the sun is now in your eyes)
