There is no such thing as toppling those that run the US. They are behind everything, even the uprising that would take out the "power". Dont be fooled, we are all pawns

meatslinger, muckylaces is from ireland, hardly the so-called 3rd world. additionally, i would like some re-assurance that the world looks to us for leadership. could you give me some current examples? truly?

hahahahahahahahaha- what peace are you talking about? I"m not sure how much more "good" Iraq can stand to have spread on it. (why would you put 'good' in quotes?) if US cared about peace and democracy, they would be gone from Iraq already, since that is was the vast majority of Iraqis want. the US presence there is the cause of violence not the cure, ask Iraqis. it is obviously all about oil and money, what the hell are you thinking about?

dude pretty much half the nation didn't want to go to war in the 1st place, now more than half want out. There are a lot of idiotic americans. They're called republicans, and the one that is about to be president will probably keep our troops over there for longer.

Theres nothing the normal american can do about the whole fucked up situation

ct, it was the great majority was against the war until the president sent the troops. then it was "rally 'round the flag, boys." we have to support the war because we want to support our troops.

what does it take to end this god damn stupid war and get our boys and girls home. what a waste of LIVES and money.

the "normal american" is too damn business trying to make his mortgage payment, he doesn't have time to do the research on the fact that the president lied his ass off.

The only thing that will stop the US is bankruptcy or destruction. Either would be fine.

This is exactly why the Romans remained in power for so long. They kept the populaton paupers and because they were too busy looking for scraps to eat they had no time to rebel and rise up against the tyrants in power. This principle has been applied to the UK and now the US. Research the Roman Empire and you will see the US Empire. Just as brutal, barbaric and imhumane. I just hope the people of the US rise up and hang the fools in power and start afresh.

sa, i teach the roman empire. your observations are good ones.

Half the idiots are called Republicans, the other half are called Democracts and 100% of the Republicans are warmongerers and fantatics and 100% of the Democrats are worse.

The question you should be asking yourself is when either McBama or McSame get elected isn't when but against whom the US is going to war after the next election.

The US will, without a doubt, invade another few countries, the question is which countries (other than Iran).
