For a white hetero male millioniare high school graduate to rant that it's protected free speech to terrorize minority students with hate speech on college campuses is the height of irony. Neocon, corporate-funded, propaganda rags known as "conservative" college newspapers like to fan the flames of hatred. Good that they have some restraints. Same holds true in high schools. Remember Columbine.

High school graduate Penn Jillette here defends the right of college frat boys en masse to terrorize minority students with taunts of "faggot," "nigger," "spic," and "chink," and to let neocon-funded so-called "conservative" campus newspapers encourage that behavior & groom professional career neocon bigots like Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham. How nice that a six & a half foot tall, hetero, white man like Penn Jillette gets paid millions to read this crap off a teleprompter. Scum all of them.

The freedom of speech is limited to when it interferes with others rights. That's why you can't threaten people, slander, or yell "FIRE!" in a crowded building.

I disagree on the metaphor for "marketplace of ideas" - it swings closer to populism than a more rational meritocracy, plus merketplaces are also regulated by what and how they sell their products.

But I do agree that people do not have the right to not be offended.

I didn't say that was a Constitutional right to business. I said there is no provision in the Constitution which calls for government intervention of the marketplace.

Don't try to saddle me with sloppy "facts." Keep trying, though.
