Stanley Kubrick is a director of the best known version "the shining" (with Jack Nicholson who star in)
Another one "The shining" is a mini- serial, made in usa (in 1997) and directed by Mick Garris.
Hope now u wont have a problems to find out more information about this 2nd version :)

haha,i never heard of him :-)!!!!! Jack is the main actor,that version has olny one part,this one that i know has,don`t know,3 or maybe 4 parts...on youtube i only found that version with jack...i`m trying to find someone,anyone that knows this `my` version;-) and that can tell me where and how can i find it...

i noticed that this music video's alike 'the shining'. but i thought its a completly another movie (not just a teledisk based on this film).
generally i dont like a horror films but this one is my fav. i know only Stanley Kubrick's version and ive never heard about another one.

Yea, scenes it this crazy music video seems were taken from some movie, so i thought this song is just a soundrack.
btw of course i know 'the shining' one of my favourite films:)
