Why are there debates between religious people and atheists? So we can take sides and hate somebody?

i need more space to type damn word limit. dalt makes a good point, Muhammad (pbuh) married a minor by our standards what are your(jamila) views on this? and you said earlier that praying is mental way of connecting with god, that point intrigued me so i have to ask you, does the mind think for you or you think for the mind?

i did my research a long time ago thanks. i did not say that muslims worship mohammed as god or god's son. i said they have made a fantasy figure out of what was once a man and by modern cultural standards a paedophile. you seem to have skimmed past that bit! also you failed to answer my question, where do you stand on the attacks in india? were they carried out by terrorists or martyrs in your opinion?

sorry i meant to say *if divine intervention did occur.

i'm sorry but there is no Islamic state in existence if you believe there is then you are sadly very deluded. religion is an outdated form of control in my opinion, it is based on beliefs and theories that can no longer be accepted to be divine inspiration, because divine intervention did occur then once more, i am sorry to say, god is not the smartest being and/or omnipotent in any way i can no longer justify religion at all no matter how hard i try, sorry but i digress, all in all good debate.

You are wasting your time,mate.
Some members of the human race are just away with the fairies.Quite literally.
Would'nt it be great if we could devote all that energy spent bleating at the heavens,on curing AIDS conquering the stars?

Man, you're good at missing the point. Never mind. I take back all my questions.

Well i'm not a scholar on Bolivian Gods and their rituals, so u'll have to forgive my lack of knowledge on such matters..

Thanks for ducking the question again.
The Bolivian gods sometimes answer the llama fetus offering too by making it rain so their crops can grow.
