Highway One, the main route from Kabul to the south of Afghanistan, runs through Ghazni province. It was rebuilt with $250m from the US and other nations.

Despite the massive investment, Ghazni is still the focus of Taliban attacks on US troops.

Teresa Bo reports now on the people caught in the middle.

Whats actually happening is that the afghan ppl r sick of the corrupt,inefficient Karzai regime,as well as the butchery of Western troops(who have no idea what they r doing,US is like giant with the mind of a child)Hence they are becoming Tlbn sympathizers in the process.Whole of Afghanistan is radicalizing & beginning 2 support they Tlbn,its their own fault

Ghazni is not in Southern Afghanistan. It is located towards the Central Eastern part of the country.
