Fred Thompson fans, please consider Ron Paul now that Fred has decided to drop out. Don't waste your vote on the ethically challenged candidates like Romney, McCain or Huckabee. All three are guaranteed to lose against Obama or Hillary because of their sleazy pasts.
Ron Paul will win because he will steal many democratic votes away and will garner the 3rd party independents and the mainstream GOP.

Thompson is a crony & a criminal! ie, In his revisionist Watergate memoir, he said he acted with "no authority" in divulging to Nixon the committee's knowledge of the tapes, which nonetheless led to his resignation. (Just one of F.T.'s illegal leaks to Nixon.) He wrote "In retrospect it's apparent that I was subconsciously looking for a way to justify my faith in the leader of my country and my party. I was looking for a reason to believe that Nixon was not a crook." Like Thompson?

not so much. I liked Obama more, but thought Edwards was more electable, and really I would have been greatly enthusiastic about most of the Dem candidates.
