San Francisco will kick off the first official gay marriage under the new ruling at 5:01 p.m. on Monday, June 16. With potentially thousands of couples set to marry, businesses are gearing up for the new "summer of love." Stacey Delo reports. (June 13)

Try not to create more hate by using just a sentence of what he believes in. Gay marriage will pass, if not today, someday soon, like it or not. Obama believes in seperation of state and religion. Thats why I voted for him and he won bt a LANDSLIDE!!! Praise God

WRONG!!!! Obama believes that all citizens are equal. Obama believes that guys deserve all rights that are afforded to any heterosexual couple. He defines 'marriage' as an institution between man and woman but states he will change that allowing same sex all the same rights as a marriage of equal.

Preachersaredumb - Dude, Obama came out and said that he's against same sex marriage two weeks before election. It was a HUGE thing. I think you need to wisen up and do some more research.

Again....do YOUR research. You can see him talk about it himself on youtube. Type in Obama gay marriage. RESEARCH before you respond. This always helps. He believes ALL citizens deserve equal treatment. I know you must 'hate' that:)

Since when?

Obama voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment which would have defined marriage as between one man and one woman.

He supports civil unions for same-sex couples which would be homosexual marriage in all but name, but believes that decisions about the name marriage should be left to the states.
