I wanted to mention that Amy and Vince had an on-going affair in the 90s while they were both each still married to their first spouses, before they got divorced and remarried. The whole affair, divorce, remarriage was completely adulterous and it DESTROYED two families. I cannot imagine that Amy's first husband (Gary) or Vince's first wife (Janis) or their children, are very happy about this. It was a very sad, regretable thing that Amy & Vince did.
Shame on them both.

I kept it simple as a teenager. I was suicidal this beautiful music kept me from dying. I understood and know I still understand.Anyone that understands pls understand my pain and find me so I can be understood.

Chelsey, you are a 15 years old so I will answer you accordingly. Keep listening to Amy Grant and enjoy her music & concerts. As far as role models go these days, she's probably one of the better ones. I was criticizing her on a totally different level. You ask, "Why can't we pray at a rock concert?" My answer is, pray anywhere you want or need to to feel G-d's love (Just not in a bathroom or other unclean place.) One word of caution: the internet is NOT a safe place for 15 year olds!

Adonai and the YHVH (pronounced Hashem) name are 2 different attributes of G-d. One is merciful and one is strict judgement. Your statement alters nothing that I stated previously.
