Hannity just ignores them when they say Reagan stood by while the Kurds were gassed in the late 80s. But to Hannity, Reagan is such a pillar of morality. So he ignores it. Hannity has no credibility. He is a contemptible air-head. He bullies and hopes it looks like he's won the argument.

just bc the US hasnt always intervened wen there was a worthy crisis doesnt mean we never should. if something like rwanda happend again shouldnt we intervene? some things r moral obligations. guess we cud just step out but i think as a rich country we shud try 2 help & not lose hope bc of past mistakes.some middle east anger does come from US policies but their circumstances r so unreasonable that they r irrational enough to do these attacks. its not just about policy. blaming solves nothing

This is not a west vs. east or liberal vs. conservative issue. There are a minority of people who would actually attack the US and a minority of people who can decide to intervene in the middle east. Everyone around them just wants a good job that enables them provide for the family. Middle Eastern people aren't fans of the state of the middle east either. Most don't deliberately prefer strict gov't control of commerce. Stop whining about that freedom bullshit. They want freedom too.

what makes him batshit?

I'm sick of ignorants like you. Why would you think anybody around the world find a reason to hate and kill Americans. You think US citizen are special? You've been extremely dumbed down by the media into thinking US is actually innocent. Ask yourself, why would someone strap a bomb on their vest and blow themselves. NOBODY BLOWS THEMSELVES BECAUSE THEY HATE YOU. It is years of torment and torture the US government put especially on the Muslim world that causes such a reaction.
jrs89 (November 27, 2008 at 3:54 pm)
Exactly. Majority of the people in the middle east don't hate americans, they're just not a fan of current and past US foreign policy. Think about it, if you're a merchant who just wants to feed his family and put his kids through school and all of sudden painful sanctions or a foreign nations bombs the village where you sell goods, they're not going to be exactly thrilled. How would you feel if your house was bombed in the process of the government trying to take a criminal?
DeusGladius (November 29, 2008 at 12:18 pm)
If you believe this then you dont know about middle eastern politics. They dont have politics as we know it of course because they hate their own people so much they dont have the vote.America was attacked...again.This time it decided to destroy the bastards responsible and people died.Thats war,its horrible but thats whats going to happen if you take on a super power.Sadam murdered 500 000 people in Kurdistan alone in 2 years of killing. The Iraqis are glad he's dead.Stop blamming the victim.
SeriousSam20042003 (November 29, 2008 at 3:38 pm)
'hate their own people'! what is wrong with you dude. Do you think the US govt hates you? That doesn't even make sense. This is what I was saying about many people being brainwashed by the media.
And this 'war' you mentioned was never US's fight.Saddam wasn't responsible for 9/11.He was a bad guy but there are many horrible dictators around the world. Its not upto the US to topple every leader it thinks is a dictator.
I bet Bin Laden is sitting in his cave somewhere in Afgan right now laughing

If US was interested in rescuing people, they would've intervened in Rwanda 1994 when close to 1 mil people died in 3 month! Or they would intervene in Darfur right now when many are saying Déjà vu!
