man stop saying whos better and who isnt all the musicians are good at their own thing. if it were then i think hendrix would saying clapton is better and clapton would say hendrix blew him away but they were/are both amazing guitarists so just worry about the music

What is all this debate about speed? A friend of mine can play VH1 note-for-note but not the solo to "Hey Joe"! I asked him why and he said: "It's HENDRIX, man!". Enough said.

Some people can't understand that Hendrix was a God of the guitar because he start a revolution... Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, Satriani and others, god´s of guitars of our days, all they have hendrix in they style...

Compare Hendrix with Vai is like compare the first microwave with a modern microwave... The last have one thousand functions more than the first, but the first have start the revolution...
