My goodness, how I hate the French. You're just upset that we crushed you at Agincourt, Trafalgar, the Nile, Blenheim, Waterloo, Navarette, Harfleur, Sluys, Crecy, Calais, Poitiers,... the list goes on. And come on, monkeys? "Rebellious Scots to crush" doesn't sound too all-encompassing to me. However, many people would agree that's what the union does indeed represent. You can keep your queen and your god's saving.

As for official 'anthem'... well, there isn't one for either England or this unfair union.
