meaning?

other people want you to strive to become a model example for the working class, the line a working class hero is something to be is said with sarcasm.

also the things that people do are portrayed negatively and they want you to become like them perpetuating the cycle

lennon doesn't want people to become working class heroes and he proves this with all of the 'they want you to do this that and the other talk'
