itsacorporatething, No, I know what Amy wants. Imagine the bureaucratic nightmare if we we're a democratic nation. I mean..there are some people sadly in our society who cant even name the three branches of Gov. Lets just keep it the way it is, and leave the Democracy to third world countrys...what a hastle that must be if they have to recount votes.

While we do live in a republic it is also true that we live in a democracy. This is because democracy is a concept, not a classification. You are bringing up a technical definition.

Smerconish simply can't make his argument effectively here in front of a crowd of people disagreeing with him. He says that 'people' are more interested in entertainment fluff and the people there clearly say that they aren't. We've got a long way to go before media people like him can break through their incestuous delusions of serving the people and realize that they're only serving themselves.

They have shredded the Constitution. The Patriot Act, by Bush, after planning and carrying out 911 by the CIA and FBI we lost the constitution. Wake up. It is not about Democrats or Republicans. Both do it. Clinton did the Branch Davidians and OKC. Larry Potts, FBI #2, over saw the OKC bombing. Also, the FBI made the bomb that hit the first WTC tower. It was done by CIA operatives from Middle East with an FBI informant that made the bomb. Wake up.

Corporate Media is afraid to contemplate and spotlight Amy Goodman's rational analysis, and are especially fearful to promote Amy's rational, moral, but also ethical solutions that are correct for the 21st. C., and instead promotes the bankrupt NeoCon agenda that promotes waywardness and defeatism.
