This excerpt of "In My Shoes" profiles Alex and his family. Alex has two moms and two dads, all of whom are gay, and one of whom passed away. In My Shoes was directed, shot, and edited by Jen Gilomen and produced by COLAGE (Children of Lesbians & Gays Everywhere). Love this video, thank you so much for making it. We have 3 kids. Our youngest had an encounter with a playmate one day and didnt know I was listening.... Wow was I proud of his response to his playmates statements. Parenting is parenting gay or straight. We can love and nurture just as well as a heterosexuals can. Just get to know us ; )

yeah. I come from a gay family and really, like you said, parents are parents. And about the loving and nurturing part, what kid doesnt want twice as many moms or twice as many dads to love them? It makes me feel lucky.
