Wow....It's utterly mind-blowing to hear the next First Lady of the United States address lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgendered individuals as if they were actual human beings just like she is. Things are definitely looking up in this country.

Because the stance of people generally is that lesbians, homosexuals, or any of these people that she addresses... aren't people.

Ms. Obama said nothing about gay rights or marriage. Neither of the Obamas have ever mentioned gay rights at all. What is their position? This is troubling and I hope my comment isn't deleted from this message board - it's a fair question.
