Gyönyörű ez a szám...az érzelmek tengere ismét elönti szívemet...könnyes lesz a szemem...emlékek törnek rám...jó élni itt ezen a földön...KÖSZÖNÖM

Neil had been up for 48 hrs. straight without sleep (nothing for Keith Richards mind you) after rushing in from a concert with Crazy Horse and was doing coke the whole time. Too bad a guy who was never a cokehead in the first place showed up on camera with a nose full of powder! Neil eventually got all straight and narrow in the 70s. He was never a druggie at all, and he is fatigued yet wired as hell here. Yet he still pulls it off. What a performer and writer.

That's one of Neils charms, his down to earthness. There's this quote about Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen: "You know, the difference between the greatness of Bruce Springsteen and that of Neil Young as someone once explained to me back in college: Bruce makes you think you, too, can be as great as he is; Neil makes you think he is really no better than you are to begin with. Remember that." I myself can't stand Springsteen, but that quote just serves as an example of what I was saying.
