Richard Nixon plays his Piano Concerto #1

Back

Seriously. Nixon's own composition, set to concerto form with "15 Democratic violinists." Nixon takes a dig at Harry Truman just before playing.

Mediocre pianist.
Consumate politician.

NIXON: withdrew troops from a war, established an agency for environment protection, established mandated health care, became a self-described Keynesian, and introduced affirmative action. If present-day conservatives were able to step across divisional lines as did Nixon, I'm sure they'd be a lot more successful.
