Why is it every time a guitarist/band video is shown on YouTube it always turns into a childish slagging match? Guitarist X owns guitarist Y, or band Y pawns band Z; its fucking boring reading it all the time. If you like Kurts stuff than fair enough, I love Nirvana, but I also enjoy listening to Richies music too, the guys amazingly talented and extremely versatile. If you dont like his stuff why even bother watching the video or posting in this thread???

It is sad simple music and complex music cannot both be appreciated in different ways. I like Nirvana and i like shred believe it or not. I can do some shredding though for certain I cannot compete with Kotzen. But music after all is supposed to be the creation of organized sound and generally is created to release or inspire emotions so one can argue that Kotzen and Nirvana both excell in this regard....at least for me they do :)

oh come on, the guitar is such a beautiful instrument and everybody should be honored to play it nomatter what they play on it, may it be complex shred or just 3 chord songs, it doesnt matter as long as you enjoy yourself. That is what guitar is all about!
