The system would not work coz there is no one govt ruling the world & also the system relies on the govt being sane and responsible.
LichtorWright (November 23, 2008 at 4:11 am)
What they're proposing would never work, if the government just made money, without any actual thing of value backing it, like gold and silver, the money itself wouldn't have any value.. without collatteral theres no value.. If that makes sense to anyone else

LOL...I honestly hope you are joking. The dollar isn't back by anything and we haven't been on a gold standard for 37 years. It is a floating currency. Just like I.O.U.S.A people still believe and think that we use a gold standard...a common mistake and a mainstream mistake. The dollar has value because we pay taxes with it. Just like gold didn't have any real serviceable or usable value to everyday people outside of...using gold to pay taxes to the king.

except everyone has debt attached to them, which will have a greater share of their budget to pay off, oops!

This is a great video, mostly because it's not made my a 20 year old with a limited knowledge of the world telling his own lies, but because it's the TRUTH. This guy tried to understand the system and explain it to us.

Free-Market Inflation and Deflation are small movements happening daily -- even hourly. In a Protectionistic Society (like America) these fluctuations are "held" (regulatory power) for months (in some markets for years) at a time with residual effects never being delt with. So, that after 10 to 20 years you have Hyper Deflaiton or Inflation and the swings are violent.
You need to articulate the "type" (free-market or regulatory protectionistic markets like NAFTA-CAFTA)
