When the Gajar State was officially collapsed in 1925, the rest 280 sq kms of the Southern Azerbaijan territory had been included in the Mamaleke Mahruseye Iran state in the manner of the deprivation of the minimal national- human rights and afterwards the "Keshvare Shahanshahiya Iran" had been included into the Iran State. Gazvin and Ardabil became into separate provinces. The Astara city of the Ardabil province of Azerbaijan was given to the obedience of the Gilan province. Now, the policy of the massive move of the Kurds to several cities of the Western Azerbaijan is without pause being realised, the local Azerbaijanis are worried that 5-6 cities of the Western Azerbaijan will be turned into a separate province "Mukeyran Kurdustani Province" by the Tehran regime via separating them from Azerbaijan. However, the radical anti- Azerbaijan policy made by the Tehran regimes is still being faced the internal pressure of the Azerbaijani Turks.

Although it was impossible to change the ration of the population of the Southern Azerbaijan, the ration of the Kurds in 3 cities of the Western Azerbaijan had been reached to 20 percents. Because of the hard economic crisis, the immigrants from the Azerbaijan territory to the other parts of Iran especially to Tehran are still continuing. At the present time, nearly 8 million of population of the Southern Azerbaijani live abroad more than 1 million of them are the political immigrants and live in the Europe and America, 1 million of them live in the different areas of Iran, especially in the south of Iran, 6 millions of them live in the city of Tehran. Only the 20-22 millions of the Azerbaijanis are still living in the territories of the Southern Azerbaijan.

The civil struggle for the restoration of the national rights of the Southern Azerbaijani Turks including the Tehran Turks is still continuing.
