He claimed he was Chile's saviour but devised one of the worst concentration camp regimes since Hitler's 'Grand Plan.' As Chile comes to terms with General Pinochet's death, we offer you the definitive film on his crimes.

Under Pinochet's regime, over a quarter of a million people were detained in prisons like the Chacabuco desert camp. These are the only images to have emerged from his camps and reveal the true horror of his regime. "They must stay here until they realise they are on the wrong path," states the guard at Chacabuco Concentration camp. Nearby prisoners suspected of being Communists are forced to march and sing military songs. One of the victims filmed at the camp was Patricia Letelier. Now, she lives in exile in Scotland and recalls what happened to her at Chacabuco. "I heard shouting and screaming and knew what was waiting for me. Shortly afterwards my own torture began." Powerful images show men kneeling with their hands in the air, being kicked and beaten with the butts of soldiers' guns. Others show men being marched into the stadium stripped naked with blankets over their heads.

Again what's the difference! Under BOTH Pinochet and Castro their enemies were killed, people would report other parties to the armed forces. They shut down anyone who went against them. They are both the same! The only difference is one was fascist and the other communist!

Pinochet and his troops Killed. He said clearly if you come out your house you will get killed also he told if anyone knows someone that is against his political party to report to los carabineros o Militar de Chile. Pinochet only when to the head leader of everything and his troops did everything else. People, Neighbors Where the one that reported that to the troops of Chile saying that there was other political party in the houses and that had Meetings....

You mean in the same way Pinochet killed anyone who went against him in Chile? He even banned other political parties. You mean lazy like the Chileans who needed a dictator to save their nation for them? You still haven't shown how a fascist dictator like Pinochet is any different from a Communist dictator like Castro.

You cant show evidence that Cubans will say that because they will be killed for saying something like that, Not even say anything about his own political party..You know why the 80% will vote for that communist party because they all cannot be independent. another thing, mmm a week ago here in chile appeared a man that was a suppose murdered by pinochet goverment, hahaah he appeared alive my friend, and hs famili ofcourse knows and they live without problems thanks a support of the state,the childens have scholaships, and my familiy and many of others have to fight every day to give me the great education i have. So many of you that coment about pincohet and ever put a feet on our land please dont talk what you dont know,

all of you in europe asia and north america thinks one part of the story and a fake story of violation of human rights. my fathers loses also friends at the hands of comunists a ideology of pure evil, what our patriots soldier done was to save inocents and patriots citizens of our country and we in 73 shout freedom, i dont give a fuck if american govermen gives money or like shit because the KBG also gives money to the Comunist, money to promte the violent revolution.

"pinochetgranchileno" how can you say there where no crimes. They made it illegal to be a communust and then would torture and kill them when they found one.I know,half my family where tortured because they were communist. That must be against human right laws.

Please show evidence of where Cubans in Cuba have said they want a Pinochet. That's a joke. Independent studies have even shown that if an election was held today in Cuba, the Communist Party would win 80% of the vote. You're full of shit.
