I enjoyed this show watched it and Thunderbird are Go as a child in Hawaii. I don't think it played all over the United States. I have asked many people who never even heard of it yet some areas people had seen it. Loved the show!!!

Fabuloso, and thanks must also go to Reg Hill for producing all those inimitable 60's tv episodes. We were spoilt!!

I think I would like to be chased around by such goreous ladies in their fighter jets. That is, if I were a puppet.

Please see my earlier comment re the Mysteron's justified behaviour.

Actually, I think you were right the first time. QT is an expert on cult TV and movies, and his movies are bursting with set-pieces from stuff he watched while he was working at Manhattan Beach Video Archives. He was also born in 1963, so he grew up in the prime time to watch CS and reruns of it.

Actually, the Mysterons may be terrorists, but as with real life sometimes, they are terrorists with a point. In CS Ep.1, a crew of Earthlings trash the Mysterons base on Mars in an unprovoked attack. The Mysterons themselves have died, but their sentient computers are the ones revenging themselves on Earth. Quite sophisticated backstory for a sophisticated children's show.
