The version I was referring to is also Thomas Dolby, however, this version has a bunch of difference from the version I'm fond of. There are a few other songs like that, namely "Blinded by the Light" by Manfred Mann, off the top of my head.

I found the version I was referring to on YouTube just now, however, it has some dialogue from the background video of the uploader over the song.

I did live through the 80's, and this is the original version of the song. I don't know what remake you have listened to, but Thomas Dolby first penned and performed this song. This is the original music video that was played, back in the day when MTV played music. ;)

You guys are morons. Glad you didn't live through the 80s? Why? This shit's great; I'd kill to have grown up in the 80s. Though this isn't the original version of the song. If it is, not the usual, better version I'm used to.
