Autonomy referendum pits rich oligarchs in Santa Cruz against poor indigenous majority in highlands

Saturday May 3rd, 2008

The Real News Network analyst Pepe Escobar says the autonomy referendum in the rich lowland province of Santa Cruz on Sunday is unconstitutional. Escobar says "it's a dagger in the heart of South American integration. It is a classic battle between a rich white minority and a poor indigenous majority, and its not surprising which side the US government is on."

some bumps on the road? Tell the millions that have lost their jobs and homes! Tell those of dying of hunger and being killed in war based on lies. Tell that to the whole world when USA (An Empire) is fallen down and taking many countries with them. What's going to happen when CHINA wants their money back? You think they are going to take I.O.U.s?
reuven2007 (September 23, 2008 at 10:26 pm)
There you go again with ranting propandas without evidence! The unemployement today is a historical low! most countries in the world wish they had such low unemployement! China? your really ignorant about worldwide affairs! If the U.S. collapse then CHina's U$1.3 Trillion will be worthless! second who will buy 60% of China's export? you? China's economy will also collapse! If the U.S. stops buying Chinese products then couple of hundreds of millions of chinese will lose their jobs!

Sorry, these are not propaganda, these are FACTS!!! As a mention before on my previous comments, USA is going down and taking other countries with them. MANY COUNTRIES in the future will no longer invest heavily into US banks, investment firms, wall street...etc. THAT my friend is the devastiting fall of capitalism, due to MANY CEOs greed and corporate fascism! Haven't you notice many countries are shying away from USA.

Then a civil war would start, he cannot rolled over 1 million people and have no repercusions......
ElJefeModule (September 26, 2008 at 10:31 pm)
I don't believe the country would fall into a civil war if he removed key people and did everything by the book. This type of thing has been done many times. The methods are known to every country.
