This song is featured in the console version of The Warriors, when you face off against Big Moe, leader of the Harlem Boppers.

pre-MTV, there were video bars that would play these record company promos on big screens or television monitors. I never saw this video (who could forget it?!), but I do recall dancing to the big screen video of Thomas Dolby's She Blinded Me With Science at Danceteria in NYC. My introduction to Madonna came when a tavern in Yellowkife satellite dished the Lucky Star video on MTV - at that time, where I was living (Ottawa) there was no music video television and she wasn't getting any airplay.

oh wow. you learn something new every day, huh? lol. i never ever knew that. about the promos of the songs. so i guess thats where the mtv era early videos came from huh? they got the idea from that. not real original as i thought. and the music video is still evolving. thats amazing! even though madonna was known for her image, what really made me know who she was were the cone bras. :-) lol. but this video's awesome. the precurser to the modern music video.

Donna Summer eat your groove out!! This is a song that has the most ultimate beat ever. It may have happened decades ago...but it still gets me in the floor shaking my cookies and I am headed for 60....Amii can still quake it!
